Hello John, A year on since we celebrated our 40th, our compassion and determination to help wild animals in need only grows. Thank you for sharing this dream – your support inspires us and we’re here for the long-haul! As you can see, your unstinting help is playing a key role this month, as we fight for gentle pangolins. There are two heart-warming stories of orphan ape rescue, we’re highlighting exploitation through art and film, and there are plenty of ways for you to get directly involved.

Pangolins are enchanting, don’t you agree? But, these shy animals urgently need your help, so we’ve launched an emergency appeal. Sadly, there is a surging, deadly trade in their scales, driven by a voracious demand for traditional medicine.

Injured chimp horror
Despite all she’s endured, Mbolle is a remarkably kind and trusting chimp. Found with terrible machete wounds in Cameroon, the youngster is now on the road to recovery, thanks to our Limbe Wildlife Trust colleagues.
