Donald
Trump’s joint address to Congress last night was filled with partisan
attacks, blatant lies, and alarming threats to our democracy.

The President continued to make false claims about the 2020 and 2024
elections, directed ugly attacks at immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community,
and bragged about repealing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts,
cutting billions of dollars in life-saving federal aid that helps people
both here and abroad, and more.

It’s also important to note what Trump didn’t talk about last night, like
the skyrocketing costs of living for working families that are about to
get even worse under his tariffs, the federal workers being hurt by DOGE
cuts and mass firings, and the seniors, veterans, children, and other
vulnerable communities losing crucial services.

Instead of making our lives better, this administration would rather
dismantle the government and move us backward for the benefit of
billionaires and far-right interests.

But know this: I have sued Trump, Elon Musk, and the rest of their MAGA
administration multiple times in these first 44 days of Trump 2.0, and I
will continue to do so if and when they break the law and trample on your
liberties again.

No matter what Trump says or thinks, the United States is not a nation led
by kings. He has the same powers as the presidents who came before him —
any time he tries to unlawfully exceed that power, I will take action.

I couldn’t do this without you. Let’s keep our heads up and stand by each
other, and remember: your fights are my fights.

In solidarity,

Rob
