This Women's History Month, are you looking for a way to empower the New American women in your life? 🤔 You’ve come to the right place! New American Leaders is proud to be a movement primarily powered and sustained by women! Over 57% of our alumni are women. After participating in NAL programs, 70 women have been successfully appointed to government positions and 131 women successfully ran for elected office in over 20 states. Behind all these successes are even more inspiring stories of how these women got there. Some of them even lost their races, but with determination and a strong community, they rose to the challenge and returned victorious. Their perseverance reflects our unwavering commitment to create a democracy that works for all of us. We are still accepting applications for our Rising to Run training, a program designed for New American women who have previously run for office, lost, and are considering running again. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to apply yourself or nominate a woman in your life to join a nationwide network of women passionate about leading and defending our communities!
This Women's History Month, commit yourself to take action, whether it's applying yourself or empowering the women in your life. It's statistically proven that women need to be told they should run for office five to seven times before they seriously consider it.
