John, just over
40 days into his presidency, Donald Trump gave a joint address to Congress
last night to make his vision clear: theft, plain and simple.

Alongside Elon Musk and a Cabinet occupied by more billionaires than ever
before, they're hell-bent on stealing everything from working-class
Americans to line their own pockets. His vision for the U.S. is to sell
the last pieces of our democracy to his richest friends. It's called
kleptocracy.

Killing thousands of federal workers' jobs and defunding Medicaid, Social
Security, and food assistance to fund trillions in tax cuts for
billionaires and corporations. At home and abroad, his only vision is
selling out ordinary people to the highest bidder. That’s the only
expertise Elon Musk brings.

Their commitment to enriching themselves and their ultra-wealthy cronies
by any means necessary will cost millions of people their homes, health,
jobs, and food.

We’re already seeing children dying of starvation while aid rots in
warehouses, seniors rationing life-saving medication, and Palestinians
being expelled from the tiny areas of their homeland not already annexed
by Israel — just so Trump can build a Trump Hotel in Gaza and make himself
millions.

Their greed knows no bounds. As Republicans bow down to his Congressional
power grabs, corporate Democrats are asleep at the wheel. What we don't
need is a Party that believes the right response to Trump is to look back
fondly on the Reagan administration and Republican leadership during the
Cold War as inspiration.

We need better, bolder leaders to fight back against Trump and the
billionaires running BOTH parties, and stand up for all of us. [ [link removed] ]As we
