[[link removed]]John,

Congress is on the cusp of passing long overdue legislation that will invest in
public lands, waters, wildlife, and local communities across the country.

The Great American Outdoors Act will provide full and permanent funding of the
Land and Water Conservation Fund for the first time since it was created over 50
years ago—and it will put thousands of people to work restoring our parks and
protecting wildlife habitat.

Tell your members of Congress to say Yes to the Great American Outdoors Act!

TAKE ACTION

The Land and Water Conservation Fund has helped secure habitat for nesting
migratory birds at the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge in Maine. The fund
has provided pronghorn and sage grouse more room to roam in Wyoming’s Bighorn
Basin. It has also protected vital forests in California’s Sierra Nevada.

And it has increased access to community parks and nearby nature for children
and families in nearly every zip code in America.

Please help ensure that all Americans have the chance to enjoy our public lands
and waters, wildlife, and the gift of being outside by urging Congress to pass
the Great American Outdoors Act.

One thing we’ve learned during the COVID-19 pandemic is that Americans want and
need to get outside to exercise and find solace on our public lands and
community parks. But too many Americans don’t have that access now. Expanding
access to these spaces in the coming months and years should be an essential
part of our collective national recovery.

Permanent funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund in the Great American
Outdoors Act will be an essential part of our nation’s recovery by creating
jobs, supporting local businesses, and giving more Americans the opportunity to
connect to land, water, and wildlife.

Our public lands, waters, and outdoor heritage will be integral to our recovery.
Please take action today to ensure we pass this landmark legislation.

Thank you for lending your voice today for fish, wildlife, and the lands and
waters they call home.
