J. Scott Applewhite/AP
Friend,
Last night, Trump addressed a joint session of Congress—and what we saw was both outrageous and deeply revealing.
However, one moment stood out. Trump called on Congress to repeal the CHIPS Act —a move so extreme that only 10 Republicans applauded.
Why does this matter? Because the CHIPS Act is one of the biggest economic wins for Arizona in years. It has brought billions in investments, high-paying jobs, and critical tax incentives for semiconductor plants in our state like the Southeast Valley's Intel plant and the new TSMC facility in the North Valley. These facilities, located in Republican-held districts (CD5 & CD8) , are fueling Arizona’s economic growth.
Yet, Trump and his MAGA allies want to destroy jobs. Why? Because they care more about political revenge than actually helping middle-class Americans.
Let’s be clear: If Republicans at the federal level won’t fight for Arizona’s economy, our state leaders must. And that starts with protecting our Democratic Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State while flipping key congressional seats in 2026.
If last night’s speech showed us anything, it’s that Trump and Arizona Republicans are willing to sacrifice our jobs and economy just to push their extremist agenda.
Donate today to help us mobilize voters and drive up voter turnout so we can protect our Democratic leaders, and defeat Arizona’s MAGA Republicans in 2026. [[link removed]]
