Did you watch Trump’s address last night?

If you didn’t, I don’t blame you - it was hard to stomach. But it’s important to know what happened. Here are some moments that stood out to me:

Dozens of our country’s “leaders” gave Donald Trump — a man who conspired to undermine the integrity of our elections and incited a violent insurrection at our Capitol — a standing ovation.

Trump again falsely blamed recent plane crashes on “DEI hires” and promised to revoke all federal funding for schools he decides are too “woke”.

And the Commander-in-Chief of the largest military in the world threatened that “one way or another” we’re going to “get” Greenland.

Last night made clear that these aren’t empty threats — Trump is serious, and Republicans in Congress are 100% behind him. That means states are going to be our LAST DEFENSE.
