Dear John,
As we mark Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the 40 days of Lent, we are challenged once more to enter into this season in the choices we make and the way we live our lives. As we embark upon this season of prayer, fasting and almsgiving, we also embrace the theme of the Jubilee Year – Pilgrims of Hope. Let us renew our faith and allow God's grace to transform our hearts and communities.
Give your Lenten donation today and make sure people like Lokho have a safety net so they can get through times of crisis and begin to build a better future.

Lokho, a mother from northern Kenya, has experienced more than 40 months of drought. She lost her livestock and had nothing left to feed her children.
“The heat was too much, the animals that used to serve as food for my family – all of them died.” – Lokho
Despite this, Lokho did not lose hope. She and her neighbours came together sharing what little they had to survive.
