About the job
As a Public Space Compliance Specialist (PSCS), you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and accessibility of the Capitol Campus. You will work closely with Security and Visitor Services staff, law enforcement, and community partners to provide professional and compassionate support to both the public and employees. Serving as the primary point of contact for individuals experiencing crises — including those facing homelessness — you will help connect them with available resources while maintaining safe and welcoming public spaces. Additionally, you will support campus operations by assisting with visitor services, facilitating the public’s right to free expression, and responding to non-law enforcement incidents. In the event of campus emergencies, you will act as a key resource to aid in emergency response efforts.
