The Facts About Planned Parenthood’s Taxpayer-Funded Atrocity:

• Record-high abortions: In its 2024 annual report, Planned Parenthood reported 392,715 abortions—the most in its history.
• $700 million in taxpayer dollars: Planned Parenthood receives about $1.9 million per day from federal funds.
• 245% increase in taxpayer funding since 2000: As government money poured in, abortion numbers doubled while real healthcare services, like cancer screenings and prenatal care, plummeted.
• Skyrocketing profits: Over the last decade, Planned Parenthood’s profits surged over 200%—from $58 million to $178 million.
• Serious ethical violations: Investigations reveal Planned Parenthood’s complicity in covering up child sex abuse, aiding sex traffickers, and engaging in Medicaid fraud.
• Political interference: Planned Parenthood’s political arm spent tens of millions in 2024 alone to defeat President Trump and elect pro-abortion politicians.

Despite all this, taxpayers are still forced to fund an organization that ends the lives of more than 1,000 children every single day.

But there’s good news: President Trump can take action immediately. He has the power to defund Planned Parenthood via executive order, cutting off federal funding streams to abortion providers.

At the same time, Congress must act through the budget reconciliation process to permanently strip Planned Parenthood of taxpayer dollars.

Reconciliation is a legislative tool that allows the Senate to pass budget-related measures with a simple majority—bypassing the usual 60-vote filibuster threshold. This means that with the right leadership, Planned Parenthood can be defunded without needing 60 votes in the Senate.

States like Texas and Arkansas have proven that defunding Planned Parenthood is possible. They removed the abortion giant from Medicaid for noncompliance with medical and ethical standards. Now, the federal government must follow their lead.

It’s time to redirect taxpayer dollars to the 14,000 community health centers that outnumber Planned Parenthood locations 20 to 1. These centers provide real, life-affirming healthcare without killing innocent children.

Here’s what the federal government must do immediately:

1. Disqualify organizations that commit abortion from all federal healthcare funding.

2. Restore the Trump-era Title X regulations, ensuring abortion businesses don’t receive family planning funds.

3. Withdraw federal funds from states that force insurance providers to cover abortion.

We cannot continue to fund this human rights catastrophe. Planned Parenthood does not plan parenthood—it ends it.
