John,
Trans people are... pretty visible right now. We’re one of the wedges the Republicans have chosen to wield to divide the country and distract from their destruction and chaos. They’ve concocted an image of our community that they’re trying to make visible- one that paints us in a harmful, dangerous light.
The truth is that trans people are our children, our siblings, our co-workers, our neighbors. Trans people are people. People capable of amazing things, even in the midst of horrifying times.

A4TE staff, joined by fellow activists in Washington, D.C. on Trans Day of Visibility 2024.
At A4TE, we’re lucky to be led by, staffed by, and dedicated to amazing trans people doing amazing things. Like our Public Education team, who trained more than 500 people on how to testify for trans rights last week. And our Policy department, who developed explainers on the Executive Orders to educate and arm the community to know and fight for their rights.
And our Organizing team, who have created more than 20 direct actions empowering a growing resistance to trans attacks across the country. And our Legal savants, who took on the State of Georgia in court this month to protect trans healthcare. And that is all just this year.
This is what resistance looks like. This is who the resistance looks like. Trans people and our allies.
You and me. We are the resistance. Please give a gift today to continue to support the resistance. [[link removed]]

Sgt. Anna Lange (middle) and her legal representatives outside the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
This month, and every month, A4TE is making our community’s resilience visible. Our opponents want to erase us from public life entirely and they will fail. We will continue to show up in courts, legislatures, and rallies to make clear that we are not going anywhere. We will continue to demonstrate that trans people are human beings that deserve access to healthcare, proper government identification, the freedom to play sports, and to serve in the military.
Make that visible with a gift today. The more you can give, the more we can show the world our humanity and our tenacity.
Sustain our vision for trans justice by making a recurring gift today. [[link removed]]
