The best time to prepare for a disaster is before it strikes. Clear opens are churches where it is publicly known that there will be a pastoral transition often due to retirement or a leave of absence. The Conference publishes clear opens on its website to allow Missouri Conference pastors and non-Missouri clergy an opportunity to express their interest in a particular appointment.
