2025 supporter survey

The results are in John!

In January, over 1,200 people took the time to share their views in our annual supporter survey. Now we’ve crunched the numbers, explore the highlights…

2025 is the tenth year we’ve asked the Positive Money community to share what you think, because we believe a strong movement is one that listens as well as acts.

And this survey couldn’t have come at a more important time John.

Here at Positive Money, we’re planning new programme strategies and welcoming a new Co-Exec Director in April. [1] While in Westminster, just last week Starmer’s government used the flawed logic of ‘fiscal rules’ to justify cutting aid to increase defence spending. [2]

One survey respondent said we were “good at explaining the shenanigans that go under the name 'economics'” - I reckon this is exactly the kind of thing they meant, and we promise to keep challenging these myths in 2025. Find out what others thoughts too in our highlights blog by hitting the button below

In the words of another respondent; Positive Money is “shining a light on economic injustice”. This was true when we first started way back in 2010 (which is how long 7.4% of respondents have been following us!) and it’s just as true today.

To redesign our economic system for social justice and a liveable planet we need to fight big banks and political lobbyists with deep pockets. And it’s only because of people like you John, who believe in our mission and support our work, that we have a chance at winning.

Thanks so much for all your support,

Kate, Positive Money

P.S. Dozens of respondents didn’t know we accept one-off and recurring donations so, even if you can’t contribute right now, we just want to let people know it’s an option.
