Dear Friends,

This is your final opportunity to sign on to our letter to CBS News. We are seeking your support to join as a signatory on a letter to CBS News, urging them to address biased coverage on the topic of Physician-Assisted Suicide (PAS).

Recently, CBS News aired a two-part segment on PAS. The first part focused entirely on a pro-assisted suicide perspective. We expected the second segment to present a balanced view featuring opponents, particularly individuals with disabilities concerned about the dangerous implications of PAS laws.

Unfortunately, only a fraction of the promised opposing perspective was aired. CBS initially assured us that their coverage would provide "a comprehensive picture" and "fully educate the public on each side's arguments." However, the result was a clear imbalance that reinforced pro-assisted suicide narratives while marginalizing disability and patients’ rights voices.

We are calling on CBS to explain their editorial decisions and provide truly balanced reporting on this issue.

We urge you to stand with us by signing on to support this letter. Together, we can demand accountability and ensure that all voices are heard.

And if you are with one of our organizational allies, please send out a call to action to your constituents!
