“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded on the house. Yet it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, the rivers rose, the winds blew and pounded that house, and it collapsed. It collapsed with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27
Friend,
This analogy of building a house on the firm foundation of a rock applies to how we build our lives. We can either build our lives on the Word of God or we can build our lives on the shifting sand of the world around us.
When our lives are built with Christ as the firm foundation, nothing can truly shake us. The trials, hardships, and hurdles that we face may rattle us a little, but we can stand strong through the storms because we are standing on the Lord.
Nothing is too big or too much for Him! His faithfulness is solid, steady, and consistent.
Make sure your life is built on the rock, because He will never let you down.
