Email from Finchem for AZ Senate You won't believe this! Hello John, Our elections are under siege! The recent power grab by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, stripping newly elected Recorder Justin Heap of critical election duties, is an AFFRONT to our democratic process. They've seized control of his entire IT department, including voter registration software and servers - a move unprecedented against any other county official. This isn't an isolated incident. In the late 2000s, supervisors unlawfully established a "shadow county attorney office," siphoning off our attorneys with inflated salaries. It took years and a court ruling to rectify that injustice. I refuse to let history repeat itself. My job is to safeguard election integrity in Arizona. That's why I've co-sponsored SB1686, a bill designed to restore and protect the rightful election duties of our county recorders. This legislation aims to prevent bureaucratic overreach and ensure that election responsibilities are managed by those directly accountable to the voters. But I can't do this alone. I need your support to fight back against these power-hungry officials and safeguard our elections. Your contribution will help us: Defend the integrity of our electoral process Support legal actions against unlawful power grabs Promote legislation like SB1686 to prevent future overreach The time to act is now. Let's prevent the erosion of our electoral integrity before it's too late. Stand with me in this critical battle for our democracy. Together, we can ensure that our elections remain free, fair, and in the hands of those chosen by the people. God Bless, Mark Finchem Arizona Senator LD1 Conservative “Election Integrity” Patriot P.S. Enough is enough already. Why is it so hard to just follow the law and have clean elections? We NEED to push to make this happen, together!
