Albuquerque, May 29th -- The following is a statement from Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce regarding the actions of the Minneapolis Police Officers that led to the death of George Floyd:
   
"The arrest and charges against Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin in the wrongful death of George Floyd shows that justice is taking its course. The actions of the four Minneapolis officers in this horrible and preventable death are reprehensible and must be condemned, and the fact that they're being held accountable shows justice is moving forward. President Trump's quick response and calls for an investigation will be helping bring swift justice to the Floyd family and the Minneapolis community."
