The Trump administration’s purge of federal employees is reckless — and New Mexico is already feeling the pain:
We are home to the fifth largest share of federal employees in the nation, with federal institutions like Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, the National Park Service, and others employing tens of thousands of New Mexicans in every corner of our beautiful state.
These employees do vitally important work for the country. They support groundbreaking scientific research, keep the families who visit our national parks safe, and so much more.
As governor, Deb will work to make life better for all New Mexicans — including supporting fired federal employees however we can. But she’s counting on your grassroots support to help her stop MAGA Republicans from flipping the state red first.
