John,  We broke the news to you earlier this month when Trump said the US would take over Gaza and we told you again a few days later when he proposed ethnically cleansing millions of Palestinians from their homes in order to build multibillion dollar resorts. But, John, it’s gotten even worse… and a whole lot weirder. Yesterday, Trump posted an AI-generated music video outlining his plan for the Gaza Strip. It’s really f*cking evil and really f*cking weird. Press play and take a look for yourself: Between the bizarre images of Elon Musk eating a taco bowl, orphaned Gazan children being showered with cash, and Trump and Netanyahu shirtless on a beach, it’s easy to overlook just how insidious and evil the whole thing is. And, John, it would be funny if it weren’t so damn scary! In order to achieve Trump’s dystopian vision for Gaza, complete with resorts and thousands of golden idols of himself, he will first have to forcibly displace the two million people currently living there. Either that or force them to build his vanity project and then work for slave wages at the resorts he plans to build. We can’t think of anything more cruel and dystopian. The level of delusion and dysfunction on display from Republicans like Trump is unbelievable, but quite frankly Democrats aren’t doing much better. Over 100 Democrats in Congress have taken money from AIPAC, a pro-Trump and pro-Netanyahu far-right group that wants to see even more Palestinians dead or displaced. It’s unconscionable and we’re doing everything we can to make Democrats get their sh!t together and stand on the right side of history. We’re nearing the end of the month and we’re still $3,597 away from our end-of-month fundraising goal. That means we just need 100 donations of $36 each to reach our target and head into March with the funds we need to hit pro-Netanyahu Democrats where it hurts. Since we’re a progressive organization Trump won’t listen to us but the people who have a say in passing federal laws will hear us loud and clear.
