Dear Fellow American,

Throughout history, the family has served as the first line of support in times of difficulty. The COVID-19 pandemic is no different.

If Congress moves forward with any additional economic stimulus packages, they must prioritize policies which strengthen families and family-formation.

One excellent way to do this would be passing the Cassidy-Sinema “baby bonus” plan, which would allow parents to receive a $5,000 advance on their child tax credit upon the birth or adoption of a new child.

Please help the American Principles Project fight for a “family-first” stimulus with your immediate gift of $25, $50, $100, or more!

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a serious toll on American families.

While previous stimulus packages have focused on emergency economic relief and healthcare, Washington cannot ignore the needs of families.

And the threat is real.

Following the Great Recession, 2.3 million fewer babies were born in the U.S.

Since mid-March, 30 million Americans have filed for unemployment.

More than 50 million children are shut-out of school.

Will you stand up for families — children, parents, grandparents — during this global pandemic?

For more than a decade, the American Principles Project (APP) has been working in public policy and politics to promote and strengthen the American family, and right now we have a unique opportunity for families to grow closer.

APP is working harder than ever to support and strengthen families across America, including pressuring Congress to pass pro-family legislation at every opportunity.

Our hope at APP is that this pandemic will spur on a revival of the American family, which is why we continue to push forward in our pro-family mission in the weeks and months ahead.

We cannot allow American families to become another COVID-19 casualty. Congress must put families first in any new stimulus bills!

Stand up for families with your gift of $25 or more today.

APP works every day to protect children, to empower parents, and to defend the American family in our culture at the state and federal level.

We’re always focused on protecting and strengthening the American family -- work that’s needed now more than ever.

Thank you for standing with us, and thank you for your support!
