Brownfield Stakeholder Workshops
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Brownfield Program is hosting in-person Brownfield Stakeholder Workshops.
The workshops are for both experienced practitioners as well as those who just want to learn more about the EGLE brownfield program. EGLE staff will provide an overview on how to access the various brownfield programs, including grants, loans, tax increment financing, free environmental site assessments, and expedited environmental reviews for housing projects. Recent and upcoming changes impacting the brownfield program will also be covered. Staff will be available for all of your brownfield related questions.
The workshops, which run from 1 - 5 p.m., will allow plenty of time for networking with EGLE Brownfield staff and other brownfield professionals, including dedicated time to offer feedback directly to program staff. For only $30, this workshop is recommended for environmental consultants, local government officials, developers, and others that work on Michigan brownfield redevelopment projects.
