I am headed to Connecticut to hold public events with my constituents to build mass opposition to what’s happening in Washington.

Like I’ve promised, now is not the time for days off. I refuse to rest, and it’s critical that we use this weekend to build as much public opposition as possible to Trump and Musk’s illegal takeover of the federal government civil service.

The good news is something is happening right now. The energy from the American people is changing. I can feel it in the response to everything I’m doing.

When I decided to show up outside of the Treasury to rally against Elon Musk, we expected a few hundred people to come. We got thousands. The momentum is building in a meaningful way.

They are trying to flood the zone with action and attacks — ending birthright citizenship, Gaza, USAID, Treasury, Department of Education, RFK Jr., 22-year-olds running DOGE. They want crisis and chaos everywhere because they know it’s a smokescreen for the media and can divide our efforts to oppose any one thing.

That’s why it’s so important we have broad, mass public opposition to everything. That’s what confronting a Constitutional crisis demands.

If there are rallies, protests, or town halls near you this weekend, please go. Show up. Get loud. This will require each and every one of us to play a part.
