“We always deserve better.”

John,
Last month, as part of our Organize Your Organization ([link removed]) project, we had the absolute pleasure of interviewing labor journalist and author Kim Kelly ([link removed]) . We spoke shortly before the inauguration and asked Kim about the state of the labor movement heading into a second Trump administration. The insight and wisdom that she shared has helped us stay grounded and focused through these chaotic first few weeks under Trump 2.0.

We also picked Kim’s brain about the importance of union jobs in movement spaces, labor’s relationship with the Democratic Party, and how to remain hopeful during these uncertain times. Among other insights, she reminded us ([link removed]) that throughout history, under every circumstance, people have always found a way to organize. That’s why our focus at Breach is to build power both in the climate movement and the labor movement. We believe that we cannot dismantle the fossil fuel industry without bringing workers together around shared goals for a better future.
Thank you for being on this journey with us.
In solidarity,
The Breach Team
