We need the Democratic Party to start treating this corporate coup with the urgency and boldness it deserves.

Justice Democrats

An unelected billionaire now has seemingly unchecked power, John.

Elon Musk, the richest person on the planet, is creating total chaos and threatening to remake our federal government as we know it.

Over the last week, Musk and his team of 19 to 24-year-old stooges have gained unfettered access to Americans’ sensitive data and Treasury Department payment systems, threatened to abolish the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) while locking agency employees out of their offices and computers, and pressured all federal workers to quit their jobs within the next two days in order to receive a buyout.

They’re doing all of this without proper security clearance and under the guise of DOGE, an agency that hasn’t even been created yet. This is a right-wing corporate coup and an attempt to sabotage the basic functions of the federal government in order to privatize it for millionaires’ and billionaires’ profits.

Justice Democrats like Reps. Greg Casar and Rashida Tlaib are leading the call and raising the alarm around this crisis, but we need to pressure the rest of the Democratic Party to do the same before it’s too late.

A screenshot of a post on X from Congressman Greg Casar reading: Fire Elon Musk. Use every legislative, judicial, and public pressure tactic at our disposal until we get it done.

A screenshot of a post on X from Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib reading: Every Democratic Senator should be doing everything in their power to block Trump's cabinet nominees. We cannot go on like business as usual while they illegally seize control of federal agencies an torch the government.

The Democratic Party must fight back NOW by using every tool at its disposal. Will you urge Senate Democrats to vote NO on ALL Trump nominees until he and Musk are held accountable to the laws and Constitution?

It’s time for Senate Democrats to put up or shut up, and start treating this corporate coup with the urgency and boldness it deserves.

In solidarity,
