The recent rise in antisemitism, especially in educational spaces, is unprecedented. We invite parents and caregivers to join AJC Washington, D.C., Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Washington, D.C., and the JCRC of Greater Washington for our 2025 Parent Summit. Sunday, February 9, 2025

Learn vital and valuable advocacy skills and proactive strategies to navigate and combat antisemitism in K-12 schools. Hear from Dr. Michelle Reid, Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent; Dr. Robert (Robby) Dodd, former Walt Whitman High School Principal and current Director in Montgomery County Public Schools' Office of School Support and Well-Being: Marlo Thomas, Assistant Head of School at Georgetown Day School; and more experts at our Parent Summit in just two weeks! The program will feature several panel discussions and breakout sessions on the following topics:
- The state of antisemitism in our educational institutions nationally and locally
- Dr. Michelle Reid, Fairfax County Public School Superintendent; Dr. Robert (Robby) Dodd, former Walt Whitman High School Principal and current Director in MCPS's Office of School Support and Well-being, and Marlo Thomas, Assistant Head of School at Georgetown Day School sharing best practices for preventing and addressing antisemitism in their educational institutions
- Concrete steps to take when there is an incident in your child's school
- How to have a conversation with your child about antisemitism
- Legal resources and when to pursue them
