Friend, this month marks seven years since the deadly massacre in Parkland, Florida.

It also marks seven years since I lost my daughter, Jaime.

I wish I could say that in those seven years, school shootings have become a thing of the past, a relic of a more violent, bygone era. But after years of the U.S. seeing more mass shootings than days in the year, it’s clear that we have yet to put a stop to this deadly epidemic.

That’s why I’m asking you to use your voice to demand action from our leaders: Will you sign Brady PAC’s petition demanding that Congress finally do what they should have done more than seven years ago and BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS once and for all?

Every day I am haunted by the fact that an assault weapons ban could have prevented my daughter’s death. And that’s why I will keep fighting every day to ensure that no other family has to feel the same way.
