One of the first steps I’ve taken is sponsoring a bill to improve transparency in our voter registration system. This bill, SB 1375, which I’ve introduced in the Fifty-seventh Legislature, aims to make voter registration data more accessible to the public through an easy-to-use online portal—at no cost to you. This will eliminate the previous system where political party chairs had access to detailed personal voter information. Now, anyone can download voter rolls, ensuring that everyone has equal access to this important information. At the same time, the bill keeps protections in place to ensure that personal data is not misused. This is just the beginning of the work we need to do to make sure Arizona remains a model of election integrity.
