In just a few hours, I’ll be stepping onto the debate stage for the very
first time in this campaign.

I’m running for governor to shake up the status quo and do big things for
New Jersey, and I’m looking forward to laying out my vision for our
state’s future tonight. But I can’t do this alone.

In the past few weeks and months, I’ve met so many people who believe as
deeply as I do in the promise of our state. I also know we have to
confront the real challenges New Jerseyans are facing.

Here are just a few things I’m ready to get done — yes, really get done
—as governor:

* Building more housing so families can stay in New Jersey and put down
roots here.
* Repairing our public transit system so that New Jerseyans can get to
work on time and make it home to take their kids to doctor’s
appointments.
* Lowering the costs of groceries and everyday essentials.
* Protecting our rights and freedoms from the extreme agenda coming out
of Washington.

At the heart of it all, I believe we all have a place and a say in New
Jersey’s future. Let’s build something we all can be proud of.
