As a Retired Navy SEAL, I’ve seen my fair share of battles, but my next one’s personal.
I’ve served on five combat deployments and was enlisted for 26 years. When I came home, I had no idea what would be next for me. I was searching for my next mission.
Overseas, the mission is to protect the United States of America, so I shouldn’t have been surprised when I found a way to serve the same mission here at home. I ran for office because I was upset with the Washington establishment getting in the way of American greatness.
Now, my next mission – the one that is so personal to me – is to take on the Swamp in DC with President Trump to Make America Great Again for our children and grandchildren. |
I’ve been a Navy SEAL, a father, an actor, and now, I’m a Congressman. But my favorite title will forever be “Grandpa.” I share this with you because they are the root of my mission.
I want the American Dream to outlive you and me, and hopefully, it will outlive my grandkids. I want America to be the best country in the world forever.
Only in America could a kid like me, who grew up with food stamps in abject poverty, pull themselves up by their bootstraps and become a U.S. representative. The military allowed me to make something of my life and raise a family.
