Here is a glimpse of the damage he’s caused:
- Attempted to end birthright citizenship through unconstitutional means.
- Announced ICE raids targeting major cities like Washington D.C., Chicago, and Denver.
- Removed the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement — again.
- Removed government websites focused on reproductive health care resources.
- Pardoned over 1,000 January 6 insurrectionists, including the leaders of extremist groups like the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys.
- Issued an executive order that recognizes only two genders and dismisses the rights of transgender and non-binary individuals.
This doesn’t even scratch the surface.
Trump’s actions are a stark reminder of his callousness and cruelty — but we cannot afford to be disheartened. Now more than ever, we must rally behind the leaders who are fighting for our values — leaders who represent the working class, our diverse communities, and the future we deserve.
We need to strengthen the power of our Squad to ensure Alexandria, Ayanna, Ilhan, and Rashida can continue to lead and advocate for bold, progressive change.
