Every single day… and that’s why I’m asking you to stand with me and Texas Values Action. We can stop the leftist attacks on our freedoms–– because we know they have not given up. In the more than 2400 bills filed there will be good legislation offered up by our values-driven legislators. But also there will be bills that we must fight to preserve our core values of faith, family, and freedom. We already know there are 20 or more #BantheBible bills. Only by coming together to fight for what God and our forefathers entrusted to us, can we succeed. And, to do that, we need your prayers and your support. In AMERICA…
I was honored to receive an official invitation to attend the historic Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony for President Donald J. Trump, official events including the Black Tie & Boots Ball and the Liberty Ball. It was a trip of a lifetime and getting to see President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance in person was awesome!
Texas Values Government Relations Director, Mary Elizabeth Castle, was also in D.C. serving as an official volunteer with the Trump/Vance Inaugural Committee.
“Donald Trump is an ‘America First’ President who will lead our country into a more free, secure, and prosperous future. Texas and the issues of faith, family, and freedom now have a friend back in The White House. I look forward to working closely with the Trump Administration to keep Texas strong and Make America Great Again!”
- Jonathan Saenz, President and Attorney for Texas Values as posted on Facebook from Washington D.C.
We are blessed to have our Texas values shared and supported by our President Donald J. Trump:
"There are only two genders, male and female." - President Donald J. Trump
President Trump’s clear affirmation that there are only two genders strongly aligns with our position in the ongoing fight to protect children and youth from the harmful effects of medically and/or surgically transitioning, a practice promoted by far-left ideologies. Chloe Cole’s story is a powerful example of the irreversible harm caused when trusted adults encouraged her to transition. Now, she is advocating to protect children from these life-altering and permanent decisions.
"We will keep Men out of Women's Sports." - President Donald J. Trump
We are thankful for President Donald J. Trump for making the #SaveWomensSports movement a priority and to trailblazers like Riley Gaines, Paula Scanlan, Macy Petty, and Kassidy Comer Barreras who have courageously shared their stories and continue to fight for this issue every day.
And, while President Trump is working to Make America Great Again, we are working with Governor Abbott and our Texas Legislative allies to Keep Texas Great as well!
On the key issue of School Choice for Governor Abbott, Jonathan Covey comments, “Governor Greg Abbott has worked hard to put himself in a position where school choice does become a successful issue, and we get universal school choice."
We also want to acknowledge and thank Attorney General Ken Paxton, who was at the Supreme Court of the United States earlier this month, for defending the critical Texas law which is designed to protect children by requiring online pornography sites to implement reasonable age-verification measures. #ProtectKidsNotPorn
Mary Elizabeth Castle, from our team, was there as well, and was invited to speak at the Supreme Court rally.
