At midnight, we’ll reach our very first fundraising deadline since Donald Trump returned to the White House. It’s important to start his presidency off on the right foot because, as the first few days of his term have shown, he is determined to carry out his far-right agenda.

So far, he’s:

➡️ Withdrawn the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement
➡️ Signed an executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship
➡️ Pardoned the January 6 rioters who stormed the Capitol and brutally attacked police officers
➡️ Pulled down a website providing resources for reproductive healthcare
➡️ Fired or reassigned dozens of government civil servants so that he could fill critical government positions with far-right loyalists
➡️ Proposed tariffs that would raise costs for working families on everyday items like coffee

Meanwhile, he hasn’t taken any action that would meaningfully lower the costs of health care, child care, groceries, and housing for working families.

Trump’s extreme agenda leaves working Oregonians behind — which is why I’m prepared to defend them against his harmful actions and fight to bring real progress to Oregon.
