Pennsylvania is at a crossroads. Trump’s recent executive orders are a stark reminder of what we’re up against: a dangerous agenda that threatens to roll back the progress we’ve made toward building an equitable, diverse, and fair future for our Commonwealth.
House Democrats aren’t just a firewall against extremist policies — we’re a testament to what we can achieve when we rely on one another, when we organize in our communities, and when we refuse to back down.
We’ve faced challenges before, and we’ve overcome them because we’ve learned from each other and showed up. That’s how we’ll face this moment, too: together. When I think of everything we’ve achieved — standing up for reproductive freedom, expanding access to the ballot box, fighting for strong, well-funded public schools — I’m reminded that none of it was done alone. It happened because people like you showed up. Because neighbors took care of neighbors, communities came together, and Pennsylvanians stood up for what was right.
That’s the spirit we need right now, John. That’s the spirit that will carry us forward. And I promise you this: as long as we stand together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
