On March 7, Nadia Bolz-Weber will join us at Manchester UMC as part of her Red State Revival Tour for an evening of good old-fashioned fellowship, music, preaching and singing. The following morning, at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, Nadia will host a conversation for UMC clergy in Missouri in the Manchester Chapel. This conversation is free to attend, but RSVP is required. A pancake breakfast will follow. Learn more at [link removed] www.moumethodist.org/eventdetail/an-evening-with-nadia-bolz-weber-18877684.
Immigration Resources and Legal Guidance
Beginning almost immediately, the new U.S. President’s administration sought to draw attention to the enforcement of laws related to undocumented immigration. The speed with which Executive Orders and shifts in policy implementation took place generated significant media attention and heightened anxiety for many communities throughout Missouri. The Annual Conference urges caution, humility and compassion in a situation that is uncertain and unpredictable. We've compiled resources and legal guidance for Missouri United Methodist churches at this link: [link removed] [link removed].
