State of the State: Big Ideas, Collaboration, and Action
John,
This week, the Indiana GOP tuned in, alongside thousands of Hoosiers, to hear
Governor Braun's first State of the State Address. Governor Braun's address
centered around his administration's common-sense priorities, discussing tax
relief, government efficiency, public safety, economic development, healthcare
reform, and education. Our Republican leadership knows that these are the
issues that impact every Hoosier and is proud to stand by a leader who
continues to demonstrate his commitment to delivering for Indiana.
Governor Braun continued to demonstrate his commitment to these priorities
this week, issuing an executive order to protect our communities from criminal
illegal aliens and establishing School Choice Week to reaffirm the importance
of putting parents in the driver's seat and providing our children with the
best educational opportunities we can.
At Indiana GOP HQ, we are excited to see our state not only continue to grow
and prosper but become a model for what can be accomplished when Freedom and
Opportunity take center stage in governance. Together, our party will continue
fighting to ensure Indiana remains a place where families thrive, businesses
flourish, and our communities are safe and strong. We look forward to
continuing this journey and achieving new heights of success for all Hoosiers.
Thank you for all you do!
Erin Lucas, Indiana GOP Interim Chairwoman

Governor Braun Delivers First State of the State Address
Governor Mike Braun emphasized the kitchen table priorities that matter to
Hoosiers, reiterating his administration's commitment to tax relief, government
efficiency, public safety, economic development, healthcare reform, and
education.
What he said: "Will we treat this moment as a plateau, or as a foundation to
build something truly exceptional? Now is the time to be bold and think out of
the box. We can do it through big ideas, collaboration, and above all: action.
Thank you, and God Bless the Great State of Indiana."

Governor Braun Tackles Illegal Immigration
Governor Mike Braun on Tuesday, signed Executive Order 25-29, ensuring Indiana
law enforcement, National Guard, and state agencies are in full compliance and
cooperation with federal immigration law and authorities. This order protects
our communities from illegal aliens with criminal histories and ensures Indiana
will never be a sanctuary for illegal immigration.
What he's saying: "Over the last four years, the increase in dangerous illegal
aliens flooding our country has created a significant threat to public safety
for Hoosiers and allowed bad actors to abuse American generosity, costing
taxpayers at every level. That ends now."
