Friends of LittleSis,
Since 2009, the[LittleSis power research database]([link removed]) has served as a tool for investigating networks of influence. The site houses 4,428,709 connections between: paid for politicians, corporate fat cats, revolving door lobbyists, secretive super PACs, and elite think tanks— making the beloved 15 year old database an important resource for campaigners taking on corporate power.
Just in 2024, our community of editors added 11,553 new entities and 47,358 new relationships to the database. Users also created 995 new maps using the Oligrapher data visualization tool.
In 2025, we’re giving the LittleSis Database a fresh look and some new updates!
To mark 15 years of the LittleSis power research database we’ve made some exciting updates to the editing interface on the site as well as a design refresh to accompany these new updates. We hope these changes will offer LittleSis users a more streamlined way to edit relationships and add new data to profiles.
We invite you to join us on [Thursday, February 13th at 11am PT/2pm ET]([link removed]) for a short demonstration of how to use our new LittleSis editing interface and to hear more about what LittleSis Tech has been up to!
