Indiana Grown , the state’s only agricultural marketing initiative, has announced seven members received a total of $25,000 in grant funding to promote their products at trade shows nationwide.

Tradeshows offer vital exposure to unique customers and business-to-business clients, but barriers for members include the booth fee, travel expenses, set up costs and more. This grant was designed to alleviate some of those costs to ensure Hoosier businesses are highlighted and Indiana-made products can be enjoyed both nationally and internationally.

USDA Foreign Agricultural Service is planning eight agribusiness trade missions in 2025. Applications have already closed for trade missions to Thailand (Feb. 3-6), Guatemala (March 3-7) and Hong Kong (May 12-16).

Though dates and locations are subject to change, the five remaining trade mission locations are Peru (June), Dominican Republic (Aug.), Taiwan (Sept.), Mexico (Nov.), and Cote d'Ivoire (Dec.). Trade missions are an effective method for U.S. exporters to build trust with foreign importers and determine product-market fit.

ISDA can help exporters conduct market research, prepare for trade missions and connect with foreign importers and industry experts. For assistance or questions relating to trade missions, please contact ISDA International Trade Director,
