Young Voters Support Limits on Abortion: Poll

Earlier this month, Students for Life of America released a poll that found a large portion of registered millennial and Gen Z voters are "not buying [what] the Democratic Party has been selling" on abortion. As the report stated, "Media and politicians often claim that this critical demographic ... are solidly on the side of abortion." However, "the facts tell a different, nuanced story."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced two U.S. Senate Finance Committee this week, in a pair of hearings whether or not he will be confirmed as President Donald Trump's Secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In order to proceed to a full Senate confirmation vote, Kennedy needs the support of a majority of both the 25-member Finance Committee, which grilled him on Wednesday, and the 21-member Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, which had a turn on Thursday. Republicans make up a majority on each committee. In both hearings, the controversial Kennedy fielded questions on subjects ranging from abortion and vaccine injuries to fast food and spiritual warfare. American leaders are calling for prayers in the wake of a deadly plane crash above Washington, D.C. Wednesday night. An American Airlines jet carrying a reported 60 passengers and four crew collided with a U.S. Army helicopter near Ronald Reagan National Airport before 9 p.m. local time. The plane, which departed from Wichita, Kansas, reportedly crashed into the Potomac River. While search and rescue efforts are still ongoing, authorities report that 28 bodies have been recovered but anticipate that nobody survived the crash.

Mysterious Drone Explanation Leaves More Questions than Answers

At the first White House press briefing of Trump's second administration, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gave an update on the mysterious drones flying over New Jersey since the fall "that was just shared with me in the Oval Office from President Trump directly," she said. "After research and study, the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons. Many of these drones were also hobbyists. ... This was not the enemy."
