A few weeks ago when we released our "Granite Path" Agenda we promised to tackle the illegal immigration crisis and address other safety concerns in our state.
The Senate is already making good on those promises! Today, we passed bills to ban sanctuary cities, invalidate out-of-state driver's licenses issued to illegals, and increase penalties for certain fentanyl related offenses.
And this is just the first step in our efforts to pass common-sense, law and order legislation!

Granite Staters spoke loudly this past November when they elected a Republican Super-Majority. Unsurprisingly, the Democrats completely missed the message from voters and opposed each of these bills. The Senate Republicans are more determined than ever to finally push through this important legislation this year and we are excited about today's results!
