With the New Year comes a new Congress and among the first bills reintroduced is H.R.130 - "To require the Secretary of the Interior to reissue regulations removing the gray wolf from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. Called "Trust the Science Act", this bill has little to do with science. If that isn't bad enough, if enacted, this bill will remove our fundamental right to appeal. SEC. 3. No judicial review. Reissuance of the final rule under section 2 shall not be subject to judicial review. FIND YOU REPRESENTATIVE AND SENATOR AND TELL THEM TO REJECT HR 130 WYOMING UPDATE In response to the torturing of the Wolf in the Wyoming bar last year, HB 275 was, written. In its current form, the bill outlaws deliberately prolonging the suffering of wolves and other predatory animals – such as coyotes and jackrabbits. BUT it doesn’t ban the practice of pursing and running over predators with snowmobiles and other vehicles – commonly called “whacking” or “mashing.” MONTANA MONTANA WOLVES NEED YOUR HELP WRITE LETTERS TO EDITOR MAKE PHONE CALLS TO SPONSORS OF THE BILLS A flurry of bills have been introduced.
