I've taken hundreds of flights in and out of Washington's Reagan National Airport (DCA). It was my personal experiences coupled with the stories I've heard from flight crews and pilots that led me to send this tweet [link removed] back in 2023.??

But what stunned us into sadness and silence should spur us into

**outrage**.??

According to St. Augustine,

**HOPE** has two beautiful daughters -

**ANGER**, and

**COURAGE**. Anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain as they are.??

That's why it was

**correct** and

**courageous** for President Trump to stand up at the podium at the White House today and express righteous indignation over the Obama and Biden era policies that have weakened American institutions, including the nation's military, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, and more.

****All of them, in fact.****

And whether or not officialdom deems this a DEI-related incident (they won't, regardless), the fact is it was

****TOTALLY AVOIDABLE**** and should not be batted away as "mere chance."

What happened last night, just two miles away and a few hundred feet up from where I was sitting [link removed] at the fatal time of 8:48pm, should never have happened. Not even as a "Black Swan" event, or "freak accident."??

Much like the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, the burning of Los Angeles, the abandonment of the border and the ensuing carnage, and so, so much more, these critical failure points in modern America are scarcely excusable as "wear and tear," and

**must** be viewed through the lens of intentionality.

Which brings me to the Senate hearings of Kash Patel and RFK Jr, today, both of whom performed astonishingly well under immense pressure from the architects of American decline.??

Whether Bernie Sanders, Dick Durbin, or Adam Schiff, the horsemen of the American apocalypse were beaten back by patriotism and professionalism, today. While Tulsi Gabbard could've fared better, it should fill us with HOPE that FBI Director Kash Patel and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy took one step closer to their prospective offices, today.??

**HOPE. And it's two beautiful daughters. Anger, and courage.??**

All of Trump's appointees are going to need all three. Lets pray for them all, alongside all those who have suffered under the soon to be defunct American carnage.
