Statement from Indiana GOP Regarding Governor Braun’s State of the State
Address



INDIANAPOLIS (January 29, 2025) – Indiana Republican Chairwoman Erin Lucas
released the following statement regarding Governor Braun’s State of the State
address on January 29, 2025.



“Governor Braun's speech served as both a reminder of why Hoosiers voted
overwhelmingly to put him in office and of his commitment to keeping the
promises he campaigned on,"said Indiana Republican Party Chairwoman Erin Lucas.



"Governor Braun's administration has already taken decisive action to deliver
on his Freedom and Opportunity agenda, issuing executive orders to combat
government waste and corruption, reduce healthcare costs, and protect our
communities. Tonight, Governor Braun pledged to work tirelessly with our
representatives in the Statehouse to bring tax relief, improve government
efficiency, enhance public safety, increase economic development, deliver
affordable healthcare, and build upon our education system.



"These common-sense priorities represent the concerns and aspirations of
everyday Hoosiers, and our party is proud to stand by leaders who champion
those priorities."
