Speaker Mike Moyle has been quite active in trying to convince people that he is a conservative leader. He's come out pushing income tax reduction, grocery tax credits (not repeal), and now some sort of property tax reduction. This all looks great, right?

 

Here's the thing... why now? Why after he almost lost the election to an actual conservative is he trying to show us that he is a ***true conservative***? History tells us that this isn't the case. It hasn't been the case for the past 26 years in political office. But why now? [**Stop Idaho RINOs**]([link removed]) welcomes his move to the right, but let's not forget the past either.


Why is he changing now? It's purely because conservatives are taking over the House and Senate. ***He knows the way the wind is blowing***. He's a very smart politician.

 

One thing is for certain, Mike Moyle has some power now. And he has his "**Moyle's Loyals**." His propaganda machine is going in full swing rewriting his history.

Sadly, actual conservatives believe his game. Look at his history. Look at his votes. Look at how he spends. Yet now, all of a sudden, he's a conservative? Might be a nice guy. Might be a great guy. But conservative? Yeah right. 

 

Moyle has voted **NO** on 13 of 69+ spending bills. ***Is that conservative?***

It would be GREAT if people could be honest. They want what he has to offer them. But admit that he isn't a conservative. Even his most ardent supporters proclaimed he is a moderate not even a few months ago. So don't lie to us. But this is politics, right? Honesty is sparse in politics. 

 

And don't get us wrong, working together is perfectly fine...  in fact it's needed. ***But just be honest and don't lie to us!***

**Sidenote is pushing only small tax cuts conservative? If your cuts are small enough to still accommodate the double-digit percentage growth of government, we question your priorities and values. What are you truly trying to accomplish?**


Here's where things are getting dicey and truly **what spurred this email**. It seems like he is now potentially weaponizing the legislature to stop those who tried to replace him with someone more conservative last primary election.


Make no mistake, we've been very publicly against this organization's tactics (the one referred to in this press release). What they have been doing doesn't help anyone or move us in the right direction, in our opinion. Regarding the upcoming legislation, we will have to wait to see what is in it to fully form our opinion. But it seems like he may be trying to make his next election easier. We hope we are wrong about that.

Also, let's not ignore the fact that this press release is using left-wing talking points. We've seen many RINOs and Democrats use the same phraseology for their propaganda. 

So what is "dark money?" What organizations could be considered "dark money?"

- Idaho Family Policy Center
- Idaho Second Amendment Alliance
- any non-profit within Idaho or outside of Idaho
- any org that donates to a campaign where their donors are not shared with the public

- **Avista* (who donated $1000 to Speaker Moyle's campaign)**
- **Union Pacific Corporation* (who donated $1000 to Speaker Moyle's campaign)**
- **Clearwater Paper* (who donated $1000 to Speaker Moyle's campaign)**
- **Several more* (who donated $1000 to Speaker Moyle's campaign)**
- *Have shareholders of Blackrock Inc, Vangaurd Group Inc, and State Street Corporation. **<- Dark Money? Out-of-state?**
