Hey John, it's Jeanna Repass, Chair of the Kansas Democratic Party.
Happy Kansas Day!
On this day 164 years ago, Kansas joined the union as the first free state decided by popular sovereignty.
We've come a long way since then, and we STILL believe that the government should represent its citizens, not special interests.
That's why the Kansas Democrats are in the legislature working to address the real issues Kansans face, like fully funding our public schools, investing in our infrastructure, and expanding healthcare access.
Since 1861, we've been able to transform Kansas using people-first governance, and we don't plan on ending that trend any time soon. John, in honor of Kansas Day, could you chip in today to support the Kansas Dems' work continuing that legacy?
