Dear MCDP family,

I'm writing to you today with my sincere thanks for your support of the Maricopa County Democratic Party while I've been MCDP's Executive Director.

As many of you know, I was MCDP's Executive Director from 2013 to 2017, and came back into this role when asked to do so by a number of Democratic elected officials and previous Chairs in August 2023.

This past year and a half, MCDP’s Chair, Patti O’Neil, and I have successfully rebuilt MCDP, re-engaged with all of our communities, and restored trust in our county party. This work would not have been possible without your support.

I want to thank everyone in the MCDP family: you, and all who support our work; MCDP's staff members — such a professional and dedicated team fighting for our Democratic values; the many thousands of volunteers — who call our voters and knock on doors; and, of course, our candidates — who put their lives on hold to run for office. 

I will be leaving my position with MCDP at the end of this month. I’m excited to let you know that Patti has approved our Deputy Executive Director, Eric Limbs, to be MCDP’s next Executive Director. Eric and I have worked together for the past year, and I can’t imagine a better person to carry MCDP forward in this next cycle.

I’m working  with Patti and Eric to ensure a smooth and successful transition, and I know Eric will continue the momentum we need to remain effective in the years ahead!
