AP: Trump grants sweeping pardon of Jan. 6 defendants, including rioters who violently attacked police
On his first day back in the White House, Trump made one thing clear, team:
He doesn't give a sh*t about law enforcement, law and order, or consequences.
By freeing nearly 1,600 criminals who violently attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and assaulted police defending it, Trump is giving the finger to everyone who cares about our democracy and the rule of law.
It's a despicable act by the 'traitor-in-chief' — and we must make Trump and congressional Republicans pay the price for allowing hundreds of criminals back on the streets.
On April 1, thousands of voters in three districts will vote in special elections to replace members joining Trump's cabinet. It's an opportunity to make life painful for Trump and congressional Republicans by losing.
