Democratic National Committee (DNC), Family, and Friends:
As a Party, we have stood on the side of equality and equity, voting and civil rights, economic and social freedom, and have been instrumental in every realm of human endeavor. Under new leadership, we can continue to be a pillar in all communities and a driver of solutions to national and global problems.
I seek to be the next chairwoman in order for a new path to be charted. Serving in this capacity will allow me to continue my life’s work as an educator, academician, author, civil rights marcher, and politician. A fire lit in my youth to serve humanity and to use my gifts to love, lead, and uplift the beloved community which mirrors the motivation of the world’s oldest political party. Together, we will tackle an aggressive agenda within the first (1st) one hundred (100) days. I believe in the power and professionalism of the incoming executive leadership team, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and that we are tied up “in a single garment of destiny” with the hope we help our nation reach its highest excellency.

Election day is Saturday, February 1, 2025 in National Harbor, Maryland. We, the People, must determine what political goals to achieve over the next four (4) years. No longer can the plight of urban, Southern African Americans, the youth, minorities, and the marginalized be ignored. No longer will we be minimized by the Democratic Party. We must repair the socioeconomic breach. Our hope is connected to the vote, and the masses are waiting for a new messenger. The dawn of the Second Civil Rights Movement is about to burst through. With all my might and the help of every stakeholder of the Party, we will tear down the walls of economic inequality and social oppression. We will mobilize, empower, and educate our way to bringing rejuvenation to the nation.
In solidarity,
Dr. Quintessa Hathaway
2025 Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Candidate
2022 Democratic Nominee, 118th U.S. Congress (2023-2025), Arkansas' Second District (AR-02)
