His ICE officers are in our communities tearing families apart. And we haven't heard a WORD from Mayor Adams. It's clear where his priorities are — and they're not with us.

We’re less than a full week into the Trump administration, and we’ve already seen ICE raids in cities across the country – including right next door in Newark, NJ. We know they’re coming to New York.
The job of the Mayor of New York is to represent our city and fight for our communities. That means understanding the challenges that our immigrant neighbors face and setting up systems – like Mayor DeBlasio’s hotline for legal assistance – that serve our communities – not target them.
So, what has Mayor Adams done? Absolutely nothing.
In fact, he’s made life a lot worse. In September of 2023, he said that immigration “ Will Destroy New York City.” He’s cut funding for housing programs. He’s scapegoated immigrants for all his issues as Mayor – and he’s done nothing to protect our communities or keep us safe.
The next four years will be difficult. They’ll be incredibly taxing.
And it’s why we need a Mayor who will fight for our civil rights and our neighbors. Not kiss the ring of Donald Trump while begging for a pardon.
As mayor I will never give up the fight – and I’ll never bend the knee to Donald Trump or his military deportation raids in our communities.
