Trump's acting OMB chief Matthew Vaeth has issued a memo directing government
agencies to pause all of their financial assistance programs. This includes
hundreds of programs which can no longer serve their core goals including
school meals for children, USAID foreign assistance, and wildfire
preparedness. Not only is this wrong, it's also unconstitutional as only
Congress has the power to spend federal dollars.

If you have 5 minutes, call your reps today and demand they pass a resolution
to spend already committed federal money to programs that count on the funds
to operate.
