Trump’s been in office for… a few months now?

Nope. A week. It just feels like it’s been a few months since Elon did his Nazi salute at Trump’s swearing in. Twice.

Anyways, you’re probably aware that Trump’s been signing executive orders faster than he can devour his morning Big Mac, but it’s easy to get lost in the high volume of his stupid moves. That’s why we wanted to make sure you’ve seen what he’s done in just the last week… and remember, this is only 5 of the bigger ones.

1. An order to pardon January 6th insurrectionists. We knew this was coming, but it’s still unbelievably shocking. These people are criminals. They broke into the Capitol and tried to hang the Vice President. They tried to undermine a fair and free election. And in the process, they beat and killed several police officers. It was the most photographed crime of all time, so it’s not like there’s a lack of evidence. Just a lack of respect for our law enforcement, our democracy, and every last lawmaker who feared for their life that day.

2. An order to end birthright citizenship. He’s literally trying to blow off the Constitution with this one. The 14th Amendment guarantees birthright citizenship, and now Trump wants a law ratified in 1868 to disappear for no reason other than racism. We don’t expect him to know this, but diversity is one of the things that makes America great. A federal judge called this move “blatantly unconstitutional.” Couldn’t agree more.

3. An order to withdraw from the World Health Organization. Did this idiot forget what happened last time he was in office? When he told everybody to inject themselves with bleach and not take tests so he could look better? We’re not sure what the plan is if another global pandemic rolls around while Trump’s in office, but we are sure that if Trump comes up with it, we’re probably screwed. The WHO simply exists for the betterment of the planet. They aren’t out to screw the United States out of money or do whatever paranoid conspiracy crap Trump believes.

4. An order declaring a “national energy emergency.” First off, gas is cheaper now than when Trump left office last time. So, not sure what the emergency is here. Trump clearly did this so his billionaire friends at oil companies can go drill wherever they want without worrying about government regulations. That’s how the Arctic Wildlife National Refuge is now open for drilling. Remember when Trump basically asked for a bribe from big oil while campaigning? This is him following through on his half.

5. An order freezing President Biden’s infrastructure bill. Yes, the guy who called America’s roads and bridges “third world” is now demanding that no money be spent on America’s roads and bridges. Remember, this was a major bi-partisan bill that not only updated infrastructure, but created American jobs. His pettiness really comes through on this one.

While the media clearly won’t tell the public what he’s up to, we’re happy to relay the messages. Because what he’s doing is wildly unpopular. We know it’s early, but it’s up to us to keep Trump and his MAGA kooks in check. Help us keep it up >>
